I booked non refundable business ticket using ultimate reward points for united flight.
can someone please tell me what is the best option: to cancel or change flight to much later random date to keep the travel fund? This is for Mexico trip from U.S.
1/. If I cancel with United I see this “ $578.02 To Future flight credit. Please use confirmation number XXXXXX to return to this cancelled reservation in My Trips and make changes for a future trip. Change fees will apply when you use the future flight credit unless you qualify for a change fee waiver. Begin travel by: Dec 31, 2023.”
It did not say anything about how much is cancellation fee or change fee. Will it charge me when I rebook ticket?
2/ or should I cancel with chase? Read a lot of bad thing when cancel or rebook with chase.
3/. How many time I can change ticket if original ticket booked with UR points.
