Marbella to Malaga airport is appr. 50km so I strongly suggest to hop into a car and go to AGP. Yes, AC should deliver your bags but given the current baggage situation in European airports, you are probably better off if you get the bag yourself.
BTW, this „stopping in BCN“ „argument“ is just plain BS…
