I am travelling from Madrid to Amsterdam in October and so have just booked a direct flight on the Iberia website, for a flight operated by Iberia Express (to be clear, booked on the Iberia main website not the Iberia Express website). This direct flight didn't come up as an option on the BA website, and regardless of benefits I'd rather save time over BA suggestion's of changing at LHR. 1. It hasn't appeared on the BA app and as the booking reference is only 5 digits I can't add it. Is there a way of viewing/taking control via the BA app or not? I honestly can't remember if that's ever been possible when flying with a booking on another OW airline as I haven't done that very often.

2. I'm pretty confident we'll earn Avios, but will we earn TPs? Not critical but just so I know whether to chase or not if they fail to appear.

3. It's asking for payment to select seats. No chance of a freebie as a Gold? I guess that's what I was hoping for if it appeared in the BA app.

4. Any chance of fast track or lounge access at Madrid?
