I know this thread is about evisa.

but has anyone applied for the regular paper visa ever since they delegate all the visa issuance work to the VFS agencies?

specifically looking for feedback (good or bad) from someone who has dealt with the VFS San Francisco office (228 Grant Ave).

- is applying 2-3 mo in advance too early?

- how long does it take to process the visa and have the passport return to you? is it within the 15 business days stated?

- was it more effective to attend in person to drop off materials or no difference from doing everything by post?

VFS office is virtually unreachable unless you pay $$ for phone calls.
