Flying from DXB-DOH on QR and then a 2:45 layover before connecting to AA to JFK - separate itineraries/tickets. Planning to go all Carry-on but if we do need to check bags, do I need to leave the secure area to retrieve checked bags Landside? And if so, do we need a negative PCR COVID test to leave the secure area just to collect luggage? Or are PCR COVID tests only needed to leave the airpot - not the secure area?
