Not sure what you're talking about. A flight's call sign is always based on the operating carrier.
I just did ZRH-BIO-ZRH - officially operated by LX but LX for WK - on LX metal and crews but offering WK service (strangely - which now still has free food an drinks while LX is only paid now).
That's the opposite situation.
What I have never been able to do is get a WK route to get a redemption (such as the YVR/YYC-ZRH).
Will have to poke around and see if I can find some availability and perhaps some reasons why this is possible.
As I said last night, you could book the YYC-ZRH flight, as LX8015, for August 10th. Or many other dates, seems to be quite a bit of availability.
