Radisson always makes me think of Ramada or Crowne Plaza where they are supposed to be a mid-scale brand but a lot are pretty old and worn out to the point where the economy hotels from the same program can be newer and nicer.
A lot of them seem to be in city centres and have seen better days.
That said there are the odd times where a new hotel is built under the Radisson name and is pretty modern/nice, as good as a new comparable Marriott or Hilton brand. One example would be the new Radisson in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada:
