Sadly, I cancelled my half price coach tickets to Fiji and Samoa today for October. I was waiting to see what Samoa's entry requirements would be -- they just reopened to visitors this month. There's no quarantine, but there's a pre-departure test and another test 5 days after you arrive. Combined with Fiji's test, we said "no." We really don't want the hassle and risk of so much testing just to go on vacation, and we figured there would still be more Covid "hysteria" on the islands than we wanted to deal with. We certainly have found that places are less fun to visit when people are scared. We also thought hotels in Fiji were unusually expensive for what they were, making the decision easier. We'll wait a year and hope things are back to normal
