If you look at the following thread on Airliners.net it suggests that TK are using widebody jets for regional flights which don’t fit with the timetable, consequently causing the subsequent flights to the Far East to be late (but due to the lengthy layover in the Far East they return on time):

It seems that BKK is not the only destination to suffer from this.
