Are they Amex Companion Certs? If so, I’d like to point out that those are not valid on international routes. If you somehow have international companion certs, how does one get those?

I, too, had two Amex companion certificates to use by year-end. Booked trips with two of my daughters to use them up. I would advise booking them as soon as possible as fare classes valid for those certs are few and far between.
