I was there in March, though only for a single night. Enjoyed it very much. Updated rooms are very nice. As you note, great location for that nightlife.
They don't really have a club lounge like you would think of at other Marriott hotels. But great breakfast and happy hour for elites in one of their restaurants.
I will be staying there again for a short visit later this month. Hopefully the entire area is making a comeback. Was pretty quiet in March, though DJ station was PACKED.
