For a total of $10,000 spend you could get 75,000 miles x 2 with any 2 of the BA, Iberia or Aer Lingus credit cards and transfer them into whichever Avios account you prefer, but you burn two slots with Chase. If you have enough spend left in this calendar year to meet the $20,000 requirement for the 100,000 bonus on two cards which would be $40,000 then I would go with a single BA card, spend $30,000 and get the companion voucher which effectively doubles your Avios to 200,000 but also leaves you more slots open with Chase to get one or two of the other cards, spend $5,000 on each and get 75,000 Avios per card. If you have enough slots to get approved by Chase for 3 cards between the two of you, then you could get 250,000 Avios plus a companion voucher which would easily save you 100,000 Avios if you fly on BA metal.
Yea, I understand the 5/24 stuff. I don't think I'd go for the last 25K...I can do better putting the spend else where. I'm just trying to decide if the 75K for 5K is a good offer or not to jump on.
