My first stop would be consumer affairs (does Hyatt still have a presence here?). My second stop would be a comment on that blog post describing the situation, perhaps with a link to this thread.
I had not read the blog post until it was linked upthread. Was the unnamed spokesperson statement a result of Gary's walked reservation? Did he reach out to corporate? Doesn't seem like it as his communication was entirely with the property manager.
