The weather is weird in NE NJ. Today is cool with occasional rain, high temp predicted at 79. Back up in the 90's for the next few days and cooler for the weekend.
Our visiting Spanish family from Sevilla includes a delightful 8 year old girl and today is a transition day. They come to us from other friends they started their visit with and we want to get some activities in for her. We're thinking of the American Dream Mall which is similar to The Mall of the Americas and the 2nd largest mall in North America which has lots of stuff for the 8 y.o.
Tomorrow we head to Fire Island for 3 days to swim with sharks
, explore the marshlands, go clamming in the Great South Bay, and just relax.
Then we take them to NYC. Other friends of ours were kind enough to go to Fire Island for a week, a major sacrifice
and let our Spanish friends stay in their apartment in Manhattan and sightsee.
A nice vacation trip and we're delighted to be a part of it.
Sounds likea great trip for them and wonderful of you to help make it happen.
