All economy fares below W (i.e. STLKG fare classes) require 80 +P to upgrade to polaris. All economy fares W and above (i.e. YBMEUHQVW fare classes) require 40 +P to upgrade to polaris.
The waitlist priority will be everyone requesting PN (i.e. using GS +P), then everyone requesting PZ. Within each group, requests are sorted first by status, then by fare class, then by other rarely-needed tiebreakers.
So 1K on K fare would be behind any other 1K with a higher fare (i.e. YBMEUHQVWSTL) and any passenger using GS +P, but the same would be ahead of any 1K on G fare and any lower status passenger not using GS +P.
edit add: PremiumPlus fares (OAR) rank ahead of status within the grouping of PN or PZ requests.
