It really is a complicated programme. I've worked out what my Garuda flights earn (100% MQM + 20% of those miles converted into USD as MQD).
But I'm hazy about what happens if I don't requalify for Diamond next year. Will I slip down to Gold whether or not I attain the Gold requirement, in the manner of the British Airways programme? Or would say, a zero attainment of MQM/D mean I'm kicked out onto the tarmac ?
Note that Gold isn't the level below Diamond. DL status tiers are 360 (unpublished, invitation only), DM, PM, GM, FO (=Silver), nothing, nonmember, with DL AmEx cardholders and those using a corporate travel contract being above nothing for some purposes.
