Adding a recent review - I stayed here for 5 nights in July on a paid Prive rate. Great Globalist recognition, was upgraded to a corner view suite looking right at the Louvre. Suite itself was pretty large, great water pressure in the showers, and I liked the Fragonard toiletries. Breakfast is in the ground floor restaurant (although room service is also available). There is a small buffet but you can also order things like crepes, eggs benny, etc. off the menu. No limit was mentioned, and all breakfast items/drinks were taken off the bill. Location is also very central and convenient, but quite a bit busier than say the Park Hyatt. Comparing HdL to a previous stay at the Park Hyatt, I think I prefer the service (friendlier) and room/decor (more modern/brighter) at the HdL. One fun thing is the picnic experience offered - picnic basket was 49 euros for 2 people, included charcuterie/cheese, cold sandwich, fruit, salad, pastries/cookie, chips, water, and wine. Tons of food, and pretty tasty for a picnic basket. Also was offered 2 free louvre tickets which was a nice surprise. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would return.
