I was just in Munich. In fact I'm on UA now, MUC-IAD. Hopefully by February things will improve, but train travel has been less efficient than usual. I've experienced various train cancellations and delays that didn't exist in my previous travels. The regional trains are quite busy, as there is this 9-euro card now, a bargain, which may well not exist by February.

However, I had no issues with airports or airplanes in Vienna, Hamburg, or Munich. This morning, it was about 15 min to clear security and passport control - in fast track but the regular security point was not busy either.
