curious why you asked for 50k in spend. As I understand that threshold gets you a status boost to the next level which would just be yet another way that you’ve earned SE+++. Is there some other benefit to reaching 50k in spend that I am missing as I stopped aiming for it once they have the status renewal on 30k in points.
For this card, if you are already SE and spend $50K, in lieu of status bump they are offering an additional "give a friend 50K status".
