There is a reason why batik/malindo air provide cheaper J class. I was surprised that they gave 30 to 40kg of luggage, as I recall malindo used to gave slightly lesser luggage allowance than other airline.

But just don't forgot that this airline still primarily run by kind of Muslim based company. Therefore, no alcohol provided is not surprised
