I said "Bummer there's no fish option". Then she cracks a smile (first one I'd seen!) and says: "We have some crew meals that are hake [whitefish]. I can see if I get one for you. You're a paying customer. It's more important that you have it." In my head I was thinking "WHAT??!!! I have *never* had a FA say something like that to me...ever!" So I said yes if it's not too much trouble but also that it wasn't absolutely necessary because I don't want to create a big inconvenience. Little while later...she presented me with the hake, which was quite tasty. Peppercorn crust and the fish was moist. She even came by later on to ask if I enjoyed it.
