1. People who have access to priority check in, security and lounge and want to have a bit of time to themselves
2. People who have no status, and know they will have to stand 45 minutes in line to check in, another 45 minutes in line for security and then rush through the terminal breathing heavily, to be first in line to board in group 10, so they have space left overhead to store their bags.

P.S. Since they added the new section of gates to the terminal at CPH, I had some walks from security/lounge to the gate that were well over 20 minutes long (and I am a fast walker).
