Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked standard room. A week prior the reservation already showed a Junior Suite City Views. Upon arrival we were further upgraded to the Rembrandt Suite with City Views (basically an Executive Suite) but gladly took a downgrade to a water view room on the second floor.

How are the rooms?
Well maintained though the age clearly shows. Got some fruits and a hand-written welcome note. Don’t understand why they use the IMO cheap bathroom amenities from ‘SPA Collection’.

How is the exec. lounge?
NA.

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- Breakfast
- Upgrade
- SPA

Bad:
We had some issues getting a table at the restaurant/bar as we were told that they would always hold a table for hotel guests but didn’t have anything available once we were there. Front desk was also not happy with this (‘this is unacceptable’) but obviously couldn’t do much. Besides that a flawless stay.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Good value given Amsterdam prices.
