Looking for recommendations for a personal item tote

Hi all - question for the ladies. I am a carry-on only gal and while I love love love my rollerboard suitcase (bought at ebags a few years ago), the HUGE purse from Guess I used to use for my personal item started to fall apart. I had bought it at Ross a million years ago and can't find anything like it to replace it, and I've been struggling to find something suitable. I don't carry a laptop with me so don't need a padded pocket, but I do carry an iPad mini, along with the regular purse stuff plus things like my medication (I'm diabetic so it's a lot) and my liquids bag, and I like to stick a couple of water bottles and snacks in there that I've bought at the airport. So it needs to be roomy, but not too big because it has to fit under the seat and still qualify as a personal item. I'd also love it if it had a trolley strap (but not a dealbreaker) and the shoulder strap(s) need to be long enough that I'm not whacking my elbow trying to put it on quickly. You ladies know what I mean. And it needs to zip shut. So I bought one tote on Amazon and the straps are great, but no trolley strap and I literally wound up ripping the padded pocket out with a seam ripper to make more room but it's still not enough room for water and snacks. After trying to retrieve rolling water bottles off the floor on my last flight I realized this wasn't going to work. So recently I bought the mini convertible weekender from Beis - not cheap - and it checks all of the boxes except the straps are just a liiiitle too short. It does have a shoulder strap but I don't like that as much as just using the regular straps. I'm not a fan of backpacks - I want a tote. What do you have what you love?
