Yeah, even as a pr, I need to take National service for two years of my life, also with the reservice thing once every two year until like 40, working abroad becomes so troublesome as you need to waste your voluntary holidays working in the army that you don't often alligiance to. If companies can choose the natioanlity of employee they wanna hire in Singapore without quota limits, there won't be much competivity for Singaporean employer due to such paid reservice for the government.
