In F there is always something on the menu you can eat - the normal veg-lacto is some type of vegetable stew plus lots of salad and fruit. Breakfeast can be most dissapointing. Haven't travelled J for long-time so can't comment.
HAve to say, i've done Lacto-Ovo in CW and WT and both are fairly disgusting...

in J i received cold soggy roasted vegetables for my starter and for main, warm soggy roasted veg (with cous cous). only thing decent from that meal was the cheese plate (and the copious amounts of gin i consumed!)

Not very exciting at all and basically it was sooo overcooked that i may as well have ordered baby food. My advise: take your own if you dont wanna go hungry (a tube of pringles generally keep me going!)

Breakfast is generally a mushroom omlette with squishy overcooked tomato.
