COVID-19 documents are checked more thoroughly at the check-in counters at the orginating airports.

At Hamad, assuming you have Etheraz pre-approval, immigration officers would more thoroughly check your purpose of entry, whether you have a hotel booking and whether it matches with the date on your return ticket, since they are the ones issuing the visa.
