Malindo Air (Batik Air) Business Class - or lack thereof - advice please...

Hello,

Long time lurker first time poster.

Purchased and flew 2 x J class Batik Air from KUL - PER last night - AUD$1200 each (6 hour flight). The service that was advertised for J class was detailed on the website. As a new poster I can't link to it however it's at: malindoair dot com /cn/en/the-malindo-experience/Our-Business-Class

Essentially, 6 features, of which only 2 were provided as follows:

Luxury Meets Comfort
Recline and relax on full leather seats with 45 inches of legroom spaciousness. A three-pin power supply socket rests on the side for those travelling with gadgets. Seat provided - no power from three-pin or USB socket available/working.

Exclusive Check-in Privileges
With Business Class, receive personalised services at our newly-enhanced check-in lounge at the KL International Airport (KLIA). No lounge access at KLIA available - was given a voucher to use at Starbucks.

In-flight Entertainment
Work the 11.1" touch screens like your own personal tablet. With the latest blockbusters, TV programmes and games, you'll get to your destination in no time. In-flight entertainment system not working (on any seat). No entertainment of any kind available.

Specially-Catered Meals
Indulge in our signature dishes exclusively designed with our guests in mind. The in-flight menu tantalizes taste buds much to the delight of even food connoisseurs. Option of 2 meals, and no alcohol available. Only drinks available were coke, tea/coffee or water.

Extra Baggage Allowance
With 30-40 kg of complimentary baggage allowance, leave nothing but only your worries at departure. Provided.

Stay Connected
With our built-in power supply socket, USB port and free WiFi connectivity*, it’s like you never left the ground. None provided.
My question is, is it worth trying to ask for compensation/refund for this kind of lack of service? Has anyone had any luck - if so what was your process? I could have paid half the price to sit in the (half empty) economy section and I would have had a equal if not better experience (could have at least lay down in a row).

Any help or advice appreciated. Thank you.
