Possibly the worst Hyatt Regency stay I've ever had.
No Globalist recognition / upgrade. Not even to a room with a view.
Completely unusable internet - a shrug from front desk saying that it is normal.
Hyatt sent me a feedback form post-stay so I filled it in. Nothing from management / Hyatt in response.
Yes, this is the old Holiday Inn - many of the signs at the shopping centre still say Holiday Inn - and very little effort was made to retrain staff or refurbish the hotel. The Hyatt House was a Staybridge.
Interestingly, the HR regularly prices at off-peak using points, but the HH never does...
This hotel is really, really convenient for east London / City Airport / etc. with the transport links - and the shopping centre has lots of food options - but I won't ever be back...
