I live in Dallas and have accrued 226.5 credits in the last year on Southwest, flying within the Wright Amendment rules. This is equal to roughly 113 roundtrips, each one purchased fullfare. Granted, this is not a lot of miles, but it is a lot of business for Southwest. However, I will be starting a new project that requires many flights outside of the area, mainly to the west coast.
I have read about the Gold and Plat challenge, but am curious if anyone has ever been comped straight to Gold with AA based on business with Southwest.
Any pointers before I call and ask?
