Residence Inn, Lafayette, IN [Master Thread]
This hotel is relatively new, just off a major street, and close to lots of restaurants. I had a one-night stay and wished it were longer. It's the first Residence Inn I've been to that has indoor corridors. Plus it has a small basketball court. The studio is nicely laid out with wall outlets everywhere. I like that the TV is not attached to a wall, so you can angle it to watch from the couch or the bed. I could not connect to the high-speed internet, and I forgot to ask when I checked out if they even have it. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of a full shower enclosure; the stand-alone shower is as long as a tub, but the glass wall covers only half of it, leaving a cold draft.
As Marriott gold, I received a bag with 3 oz. Tostitos, nacho cheese dip, cookies, and a bottle of water. Bottles of water were also available at breakfast.
