7/24 SFO to JFK (AA234). Cleared around T-48, and there was at least one empty J seat at departure (which I switched into after being seated next to a guy with severe sleep apnea).
7/26 JFK to SFO (AA177). Cleared at T-0.75. #1 of 1 on the waitlist. Would have cleared long before except it was a B6 codeshare. Left with 8+ empty J seats.
I am 6 out of 8 on SFO-JFK-SFO upgrades, all clearing at the PP window (or shortly thereafter) Of the other 2 of 8, one I bought in Business as there was a huge trade show in February in NYC, and Y was already full and the other I bought into F because I never have tried it and the F fare was less than the C fare. Very happy so far this year.
