Basically, LH reps always say for a voluntary change, they have to "reprice" - even though they themselves were at fault for canceling a sector... (but not relevant to this part of (my) trip)
Apparently they have to reissue each and every ticket - no idea why....
I have had instances where they have not reissued even until hours before the first sector that it to be flown - have to call in and ask...
1 time they cancelled the itinerary!
