Are NH and UA my only long-haul options to SYD on a 016 ticket?
I did a fair bit of searching before posting and am looking to validate my understanding. The ability for partners to plate tickets on their own stock was curtailed by 2020 and most partners seem to limit availability of cheaper business (i.e., everything below J) or first class fares to only their own stock. From what I could tell UA's fare rules dictate that the long haul TPAC portion must be operated by either UA or NH. Is my understanding correct? I'm happy to fly ANA but would prefer to limit my time in Polaris when possible.
