Ok, so still not working, was put through a BA OneWolrd expert who informed me that unfortunately Qatar cannot see Bronze/Ruby seating selection privileges when the ticket is issued on a BA codeshare. The OW employee confirmed that if it had been a QR issued ticket then Qatar would have been able to give me the right privileges but for codeshare, they cannot, an IT issue on their side apparently 🤦🏻‍♂️
