Agreed. There was a lot of finger pointing toward Amex when it came to light. If I remember correctly the response to my complaint was "Amex won't budge." They were willing to punish the banker, AKA the one at the bottom of the hill, but since none of it would result in getting my relationship bonus points, I let it drop. We live, we learn.
