Absolutely, yes to both.
You should have a BA record locator which you would need to check in anyway (assuming the BA flight is first) and your BP will have the BA flight number on it. BA will sell an AUP to anyone- if offered. It pops up at the top of the screen for any member of staff looking at your BP.
