I am looking at an attractive one-way fare on CX in J from SYD to LAX via HKG.

There is little data on what the CX long haul J class experience is like in 2022, but it seems as though the in-flight service is about the same as it was pre-pandemic. Is that accurate?

I'm not really worried about changes to the rules for transiting HKG or cancellations because I have a fall back award ticket on QF. The decision for me is all about the inflight service.

Finally, it's been a while since I've flown CX in J. No mattress pad, right?
