My 3 year old and I are travelling on AA from T3 to BOS on Friday. Flight is at 14:30 so not part of the morning rush. I've never done preclearance before. No Nexus/GE but we are OneWorld Sapphire so when we travel internationally we've had priority check in and security. Is there priority security when going to the US for elites? I know it's variable, but can anyone tell me roughly what to expect wait time wise at that time of day/our situation? I don't mind arriving early, but just need to be able to plan for a long line up in terms of my son's toilet breaks and whether to get food in advance etc.
Anecdotally, last Friday around noon, it took about half an hour to get through both security and CBP for non status passengers.
Looks like around 1000-1400 is roughly the same level of traffic in T3 US departures:
