LH/rebooked for new date - reissue of ticket required?
Following a cancellation of one of the return segments (outbound already flown) I decided to rebook the return travel, BOG-FRA-CPH to 2 days later. Same flight No. so only a date change. It was effectively done by calling LH here in Colombia (within minutes I got through to a US call center) and an email confirmation was received a few hours later. BUT I notice that the ticket No. is the same; and when I check the eticket receipt on LH.com, it shows the previous travel dates. Should I be concerned? I would hate to arrive at the airport only to find out that the ticket should have been reissued.
So the Q is; for a mere date change (no change of flight No), revalidation of the LH is ticket is sufficient (i.e. no new ticket No.) or reissue of the ticket is required in order for me to travel? If revalidation will suffice, has it been done when the e-ticket shows the previous travel dates for the return flights?
