They were pessimistic in the demand for their own services and hence proactively agreed wetleases as that was "guaranteed" income of sorts. However, then demand seemed to have taken by surprised by which time they already signed the dotted lines for the wetleast arrangement which then meant AY themselves needed to seek a wetlease operator for them!
