That flexibility works well for both the hotel and I, since I will have to make the vacation reservations several months in advance -- always the chance that my family member might not be able to make it. I gather I would just tell the desk, when checking in, that I need the bed pulled apart and made up separately into the two twins -- no big deal for them, I am sure.

If hotels other than those several Luxury Hotels also have rooms with "king beds" that are actually two twin beds, it would be helpful if they were listed so -- just a suggestion for 2005 ...
