The missed connection is frustrating as we need to get to LPQ (cancelled holiday from 2019 and 2020) and we were doing LHR-SIN // SIN-DMK-LPQ.
I’d ask to be re-routed on QR in F to BKK (On some dates you may get DOH-BKK in F also as they are operating an A380 on this route.
When they cancelled my SIN in F in January they allowed me to re-route to HKT or BKK. Unfortunately only LHR/DOH legs were in F but I was happy enough with the compromise as the re-routing saved alot of hassle for me.
