Ugh, am so slow on this. Sorry!

Man I liked this hotel. My first (and many subsequent) AMS visits, I stayed at the Pulitzer, which still holds a spot in my heart. This was my first time staying elsewhere, and I chose this property myself for a large weeklong meeting. While staying at Pulitzer, I wandered into the Andaz the first 2weeks it was open many many years ago and was really struck by the design concept, the layout. When a hotel is written up in an architectural magazine and other design publications, is something special. Is a very "W" funky high end property in possibly my favourite area to stay in AMS - walkable to everything, but in a less hustle/bustle area than being in the Dam or more Central. Great service, great F&B, upgrades as a Globalist.

Not the cheapest stay in AMS, but competitive with other 5stars there (Pulitzer, W, Sofitel, IC) while being much less expensive than the Waldorf, for example.
If the cost is within your budget, I don't know of a property I'd rather stay at in AMS.
