Seat Selection Nightmare
I'm a long time TK flyer and have seen just about every issue imaginable, but this one is at a different level. We have an upcoming BOS-IST-BOS travel as a family of 4. We paid extra for the seats to make sure we sat together. When i checked the online reservation randomly it showed different seats than what we selected (not together) including the seat "10C' which doesn't exist on these flights. I made about 5 calls at this point. I was eventually hung up by 3 of them (I was being perfectly polite). The other 2 gave me differing answers, both eventually saying that they didn't see any confirmed seats and that I had to pay again.
I had already sent in the infamous "feedback form" - there has been no response. I don't know if this is some kind of a scam to have gullible customers pay multiple times for seat selections, but it sure feels that way. It's infuriating - since we paid extra so that our children don't scattered across the plane, but it sure looks like we are headed in that direction. When will TK fix its customer service? It's just unbelievable...
