- Name of the hotel: Mercure Paris Opera Grands Boulevards.

- What is your ALL status? Platinum

- Were you happy with the hotel/stay? No

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Classic Room and receive the same category. No explanation that the hotel was full therefore no upgrade was available.

- How are the rooms? Classic rooms are on the average, well maintained.

- What was good and what was bad?

Good: I needed a 2 night stay in paris in this area and I slept well. Room with view to the courtyard are very quiet. Some interesting restaurants nearby. Nothing else to say related to the hotel. Asked for a late check-out at 03:00pm, not available but I was granted an extra hour (01:00pm).
Bad: Welcome was totally random, no recognition of frequent customer. The staff did the minimum, I had the impression I was in a "Budget" hotel. Only one small bottle of water was available in the room for 2 people whereas it was around 35ºC outside, A/C at the reception was locked on 29ºC... . Only 1 elevator for a lot of rooms, it was also used to move the cleaning commodities so rarely available.

- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? No lounge

- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Drink voucher at check-in, used it for two bottles of water that were in the mini-fridge at reception. I was not explained what was available.

- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Not a good deal, will not return.
