Just back from a 3 night weekend stay here with my wife and daughter. We have stayed here a number of times, so we do tend to be treated well as returning guests.

Booked the cheapest room back in December when rates were still low and applied SNAs to the reservation. The SNAs cleared 5 days in advance, with us being upgraded to an Executive Suite. Turned out that we did well, as many of the suites were bought by UFC who were holding an event at the O2 at the weekend.

Arrived at midday and was able to access the room and lounge straight away. Room was in good condition and spacious. The sofa bed was set-up as requested for our daughter and the aircon was working well, which was a definite requirement for part of the weekend.

On arrival was a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks in the room, stored in the fridge with a note to let us know they were free. On the second day, we came back to a welcome note from the front desk manager, as well as some food and welcome gifts. Both sets of items were well received and appreciated.

We didn't use the lounge too much, but it was quiet on the times we visited. We didn't go during evening drinks, but outside of that there was no issue with getting drinks and snacks and a good seat.

Breakfast is as I remembered it. Some hot dishes can be ordered from the chef station, as well as a hot buffet area, cold buffet inc cheese, meats, yoghurts, fruits etc. The only weak points are the selection of pastries and breads, which are pretty average, as well as the single coffee machine as other posters have mentioned. It was fine for us as we visited early when the restaurant was quieter, but 1 machine won't cope at busier times.

Finally, it was good to see the various newly opened parts near the hotel with the opening of Crossrail. There is definitely a lot more within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel and the whole area is a lot busier and active now at a weekend.

Another good stay here and we'll be back again in the future.
Fanny looks after us when we go, too. Last year we did 53 nights there. It was SO cheap. Off there in 5 weeks on points. Then our usual January trip, though much more expensive next year. Hoping it drops considerably. I am tempted to try and get cheap hotels all month as will be a similar cost to being at home due to the energy prices.
