I am on AA1886 this Sunday (about 144 hours from now) with an F ticket I paid about $700 for. The flight shows J7 on EF, and 15 open F seats on the seatmap. Y is for sale for $460. I will not slit my wrists if I have to fly in MCE. I am EXP.

It is sensible to cancel the F ticket and buy a Y ticket?
