Does TK, particularly at JFK, weigh carry on? Only time I ever experienced this was QR at JFK and they were very strict about cabin weight limits. Adding a monster telephoto to the bag for upcoming Tanzania trip!
My carry-on was weighed at JFK while traveling in J about two weeks ago. It was 4kg over, agent commented on that but as a "one time exception" I was allowed to bring it.
