How long have you seen this problem? Is it new or long existing?
As UA does inventory / schedule updates on Friday evening/ Saturday morning (Chicago time - CDT) and there may be glitches in this process.

I might not be a rolling 48 hours but its def 24 hours + a few. Maybe also when the day changes in Germany.

I have booked a lot of flights 2 hours before departure with Lufthansa on MileagePlus in the last years months and weeks no problem at all. This is very new like maybe a week.

Now with the strike coming Wednesday its not a good time to look into this issue anyways because inventory is going crazy.
